Well I stuck to my guns for about 3 months and I folded like a velvet suit. Apparently my desire to finish Lizzie's redo bedroom was stronger than my dislike of Fabricland.
These people have a monopoly on fabric in this town, a true cartel. What makes the situation truly bad is that I had to pay for a new membership today too! $20.00 for the privilege of saving money at their store.
It's a sad sad day. So sad in fact, I had to eat brownies, lots of them.
Fabric store really can be so annoying! I wonder why that is. All that sizing in the air fries the brains of the employees? Maybe there's a fabric store employees union and only unpleasant people are allowed to join?
Most fabric that enters my life these days does not come off the bolt--I keep an eye out when I'm thrifting for textiles that I can repurpose. Harder when you have a specific project to complete, but I love the thrill of the hunt!
