Happy Heart Day

Welcome to my half-"heart"ed attempt at Valentine's decor. I'm pretty sure I remember being a lot more enthusiastic about decorating last year.

I love this wreath. It was, of course, inspired by one I found on the internet somewhere. I can't even begin to locate the original source. Just know it wasn't my idea.

Javier and I don't really celebrate the holiday but I've always tried to make it a little special. Even if it involves running to Safeway at 8:00pm the night before. I remember seeing a cute little bee valentine, but alas, they were all sold out.

Miss Lizzie wanted some smarties but again, the selection was rather limited last evening. But I think Lindor chocolates are a good substitute. She agrees.

I blame work for distracting me from properly celebrating the holidays.
