Day 16

This is what happens when someone is blogging instead of watching over dinner.

Yes, someone scorched their favourite pot and part of the potatoes cooking inside. This is after scrubbing it for 20 minutes. I think I'll let it soak for a while...and maybe do some internet research (AKA blogging).

Oooh wait, look at the pretty freshly washed Pyrex. Obviously I'm easily distracted.

Let's take some pictures of me and my Ollie. Aren't we the cutest couple ever?

Okay, I've successfully wasted a few hours. Bye.

a cuter couple I haven't seen all day! ... hmmm ... does baking soda work? seems to work on everything else - perhaps make it into a thickish paste ... just a thought.

My friend's mother used to throw severely burnt pots/pans into the snow. It never seemed to rid of the burnt marks but it probably gave her some sort of satisfaction. Good luck with the elbow grease!

Oh no! That's not a Le Cruset I hope. I ask because I have that same color. Good luck with salvaging it : )

I would not have thought of baking soda. Did you learn that on google? Is google not the single greatest thing ever? Good job! I received Le Creuset for Christmas lat year, a french oven, large frying pan and two pots. I rearranged my entire kitchen just to create the perfect space for them. I'll have to post a photo of my happy cabinet.

I just tagged you on my blog with an award because I like your blog, not because I think you're illiterate. When you see the award, you'll understand.

Ooooh Pyrex! Love those. I enjoyed reading MJ's comment about the dishes/pots in the snow! I'll have to try that one. We had a nice snow today.
