Much better day

Actually I'm not sure if I feel any better but I'm being positive. I did what I could yesterday to feel better...I drank a litre of coffee, well actually just two rather large cups, I read a good book, "Tom Sawyer"ed my daughter into helping me paint the fence, drank several large glasses of wine, ate ice cream & popsicles, and then I just embroidered. But what did I embroider?

Yes it's true. I made myself an Airstream. I figure if I don't actually get to have one, at least I could have a embroidered picture of one around the house. And once again I realized--embroidery is much better than medication. This is a very rough picture I traced from a photo off the internet, but I think it turned out pretty cute. Maybe for framing, or I've also seen these made into throw pillows.

Thank you to my new friend Asthma Girl for this cute blog award. This always makes a girl feel better. After careful consideration, I pass this award onto

There are lots more of you that deserve this award. However, I just couldn't copy my whole blog roll in here today, but know that I enjoy reading all of your blogs.

Just to clarify to anyone reading these comments & thinks the same thing I did when I read Asthma Girl's comments--I didn't actually have CRABS. I'm just not that kind of girl. I'm glad I got that clarified.

what a sweetly accurate award! congrats. :)

I think your embroidered Airstream is a little dream ... maybe you should turn it into a wish pillow!

Oh Dear! I'm horribly embarrassed that it sounded exactly like that.

It's the lead in from the crab shack yesterday... and at my house a crabby daughter is called a crabby patty or a crab pot and we all get a case of the crabs now and then.... oh dear. I've said it again.

I'm stopping now before it sounds even worse... and it was bad enough.

Would you like to stop by my blog tomorrow and wish me a joyous recovery from my case of the crabs? Surely I deserve it.

So you just whipped that up tonight? I'm humbled by your skills.

I have none save envy, and that's more of a deadly sin than a skill.

Very impressed.

The trailer pic is downright darling. It will be the most precious thing on a little pillow - and I might just lose my mind if you eventually do get an Airstream and plop the pillow in there.

Precious.

(And congrats! On the award, and the lack of crabs...)
