What does a girl do when she's bought a whole bunch of outrageously
expensive lemons from Safeway?
Display them in a vintage Pyrex bowl? Perhaps.
Ignore the lemons & ham it up for the camera instead? Hmmm.
(yes this picture is intentionally blurry - it's arty don't you know?)
How about use them for some juggling? Nice lemons, Javier.
(action shot so of course it's a little blurry)
Use them to shoot baskets in the backyard? Maybe. Might get a big bruised though.
No. We squeeze the heck out of them and make lemonade!
Lizzie really used her muscles on these babies.
But look at what we ended up with. A beautiful jug of fresh lemonade- ice cold of course!
A glass for each of us.
The verdicts:
Javier - Tart (squishing up face as he takes drinks)
Lizzie - Yum. (Drinks more). Better in small amounts. (A little more). More sugar next time.
Ollie - Yum (thinks to herself - a will enjoy every sip of this $8.00 lemonade - yikes - even if I think it's a bit too tart too)
Thank you for joining me on this lemon-fresh journey.
I leave you with a photo of last night's fireworks.
Have a great day!

Oh yum. That looks SO much better than the soda I'm drinking right now! And I'm glad to know blurry pics are arty, I must have some SERIOUS artistic talent then. :)
I haven't make lemonade in years. Guess it's time to get squeezin'. Especially love the blurred photos.
Looks refreshing!
$8.00 for lemons is a decent price considering it made for a very HILARIOUS blog! :)
Yum...yum! I like to add a pinch of salt in my lemonade. tee hee. :)
Great summertime post! Was that a rare shot of Javier???? :0)
Nice fireworks...we are looking forward to some very soon in our area.
Pretty aqua glasses, too.
Is the cat really that HUGE?
Thanks for the reminder! I'll get a can of frozen concentrate instead! Fun post!
It's quite delish with Vodka in it and slushied up a bit also.
Sounds yum! Do we get a recipe?
I never use enough sugar when making lemonade!
