Day 14

I finally had the chance to meet my friend's new little one today. She's just over a month old and oh, so cute and cuddly.

I made her this little sweater before she was born and now she finally has it. It is an easy-peasy pattern from one of my vintage pattern books.

The buttons are my favourite parts. I have an extensive, but boring collection of buttons, but by chance I had two pretty roses, one pink and one blue, plus this little hexagon.

My friend likes handmade things and sweaters, so I combined the two together. I think this suits mom & her beautiful baby girl just perfectly.

To my friend (just in case you are lurking), I had a nice time this afternoon. Thanks for having me over!

Easy peasy? Tell me that work of art is not easy and that easy peasy is the "name" of the sweater! AMAZING work! You have talent girl!

Cute sweater!

Ohhh, buttons! My mother has gone through her button box and I have squeezed out all the red buttons in mine to do the Advent projects! I checked Fabricland for red buttons and was so disappointed with what was available! Hopefully they'll bring in other choices soon!

Oh how darling! I love all the colors. If only they could wear them a little bit longer.
